This is a homemade baby nerd costume. The idea for the costume came to me one morning while thinking of what my son could be for Halloween. I didnt want one of the few costumes that are available for babies. The costume is loosely based on the Steve Urkel character. Items used were pants,a plaid shirt, suspenders, glasses, and shoes&socks. Old clothes around the house and old glasses with the lenses taken out were used. Hair is slicked down with a part in the middle. Tape on the glasses is optional.
The costume was very easy to put together and it was also easy to gather all the needed items. The hard thing was keeping glasses on an 11 month old baby, but we all know that glasses are an important part of the nerd look. My suggestion, give the kid a lollipop so he will be destracted and leave the glasses on.
