This Gnome illusion costume caught so much attention. Doesn’t take much to assemble it. A few items from your local thrift store, some felt, a swim noodle, safety pins,your time and a whole lot of hot glue!
Use the swim noodle to construct the shape of the mushroom. Add your felt by wrapping it under and around the noodle. Attach with hot glue. It will be held on by suspenders. Stuff the underside with stuffing, newspaper or old plastic bags to give the shape. stuff some toddler pants with the same to use as the “fake” legs that sit on the mushroom. As for the rest… dress your gnome however you like. Have fun….hope you enjoy attention.
