This costume was very easy to make but time alittle bit of dedication. We got a big sturdy box and cut the top of it to make it the top of the balloon. I then taped the flaps together to make my box bigger. My daughter and I covered the box with brown construction paper and cut yellow construction paper to make the boxes on it. We the cut 8 small long card boarda and used 2 on every corner.
We added to glitter on the front to give it some color plus added the sandbag on the side. The kids were so excited seeing my daughter in the hot air balloon because at the end we just added the balloons to it. This costume was fun to make and a great family project!
