My son wanted to be a garbage truck. So we set off to create it. I browsed the web and came across a great costume that gave me inspiration, that was the start and there was some great info.
After lots of cardboard and hot glue it started to take shape. We added different thickness cardboard for the bumper. Created some clever signage. Also added the container in the back so he can store the candy.
We installed tap lights from big lots for the headlights and a rear tail light that flashes in multiple sequences. Put some gas tanks on the sides by wrapping some foil around some circular tubing. During our trick or treating people loved it. Lots of people asked if they can take pictures of it. The lights were great walking down the streets. My son loved it.
