Homemade Little Red Ridinghood Dog Costume

I put this costume together because I have Alaskan Malamutes that everyone always says looks likes wolves. So as I was brain storming for a costume, I remembered childhood stories. Little Red Riding Hood came to mind when the Big Bad Wolf disguised himself as grandma. I thought what a great idea. So the making of the costume began. If you notice, grandma in that picture is my young dog that I thought would never keep those glasses on. I made his bonnet out of a shower cap and sewed wolf ears to the top, I then took the lenses out of an old pair of sun glasses and threw a shawl on him. My older dog, little red riding hood, was a red cape, and I sewed yellow ribbon in the hood for the blond locks of hair. Both dogs did great, kept the glasses on for an entire 3 hours of a doggie halloween party at the obedience school that I attend. Everyone loved the costume so much that they won 2nd place.
