I made the costume but forgot to add details of how I did it when I posted the pics.
First, the jacket is a disgusting red leather coat from a second hand shop. Who actually bought that originally thinking it was stylish? I used fabric and fabric paint to add the flair to it.
The tassels are attached with safety pins. Sharp! Pricked my fingers a lot while doing this, didn’t help I was drinking at the time.
The pants are a pair of fat lady’s scrubs. So comfortable! More puffy paint. I LOVE PUFFY PAINT!
The hat is a plain cowboy hat with some more fabric glued on it.
The best part of the costume is the wig. It is from an Asian wig shop. Cost $4. The beard is genuine brown eyeliner!! The glasses are from a costume shop.
I designed the iron on graphic for the shirt.
This costume is all about tackiness and color and it was the most fun to make. It was a big hit.
