Homemade Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Group Costume

My friends and I wanted to do something that carried us back to our childhood…and the Ninja Turtles were our favorites! There’s four of us so this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles group costume worked out really well.

I went to Micheal’s and got green t shirts and we ordered green sweatpants offline. We had been to the fair and decided on sunglasses instead of masks. We went to Party City and picked up the weapons. I got felt, ribbon and pillow stuffing from Micheal’s and spray painted the felt after I basically made my own pillow to create the shell.

We were the highlight of the Halloween party! I got TONS of compliments on the shells and to this day I still get them…mostly because everyone loved the Ninja Turtles when they were little, too!
