We had heard on the radio that someone had been a shower curtain. So we thought we give it a shot just to see what we could come up with. The costume in general was very inexpensive (probably less than $8.00) to make, without the shower head which could be purchased at a used store or find a inexpensive one from a hardware store.
We did have a little help with the wood post that was used to hold the circle hoop for the shower curtain. There was a 2 to 2 1/2 foot piece of wood (post) that was used to hold up a real shower head. We had the post between our shoulder blades and then used a belt wrapped around our waist and chest to hold it into place. For the water we used tinsel from the dollar store. We won first place at work and also won 2nd place at an establishment in town. I have to say the costume itself was very easy to move around and work in.
- Shower curtain $1.00
- Tinsel (water) $1.00
- Hula Hoop Curtain Rod $1.00
- Shower cap $1.00
- Rubber Ducky $1.00
- We used a razor, wash cloth and bath scrubby from home.
