My boyfriend and I were brainstorming costume ideas a week before Halloween. We wanted to go with something Nickelodeon themed but we were torn between a few good ones. We found a collage of all the 90s-00s cartoons and I saw that Cosmo and Wanda from the Fairly Odd Parents had some of the most simple costumes, but we could go the extra mile with the bright colored hair and wands.
For Cosmo: Green hair spray, white dress shirt, black tie, black pants, black shoes.
For Wanda: Pink Hair spray, yellow shirt, black skirt, black shoes (she wears pants but I wanted to look more girly)
For the wands I just traced and cut out stars from yellow construction paper and taped them to pens (you can use Popsicle sticks, too.) For the “floating” crowns I traced the shape out of the same yellow construction paper and taped them to headbands.
We had some spare time and decided to replicate “Da Rules” and decorated an old book we had floating around.
Halloween was a blast being dress as The Fairly Odd Parents. We got a bunch of compliments and a lot of the people we were around remembered watching the show years ago.
