Last-Minute Homemade Paltero (Ice Cream Man) Costume

My 9-year son has been obsessed with ice cream for the past few years now.  So of course when I asked him what he wants to be for Halloween he said “ICE CREAM MAN”.  He loves ice cream (not that he gets to eat a lot of it) but since making an Ice Cream Truck would be way to hard for us. We opted for the more easier ice cream man and what better then a Paltero (Ice Cream Man) Costume.

It was easy and cheap with me having 3 boys that need costumes, cheap is always good. Well for the clothes they are everyday clothes that he had we just bought him the bandana and hat for the local store down the street. We painted a child’s toy shopping cart that we spray painted white, and as for the top we used a disposable ice crest and I Googled ice cream truck decals and printed them.
