Last Minute Thing 1 Thing 2 Couple Costume

My best friend and I are a goofy pair. We had searched high and low for costumes, but couldn’t find one that really showed our personality. We finally came across a Thing 1 and Thing 2 costume in the store but it was too generic looking so we decided we could do it better with a funky twist.

We bought Einstein wigs and sprayed them with blue hair spray. Bought matching red skirts and tank tops. We used white felt and a permanent marker to create the Thing 1 and Thing 2 circles which we then hot glued to the tank tops. We added red shoes, fishnets, red gloves and a a funky pair of sunglasses to complete the look. We had a blast running around as a crazy Thing one and Thing two that night, getting into true Dr. Seuss mischief.

This Last Minute Thing 1 Thing 2 couple costume was easy to make and we even won first place in the costume contest!
