Man in the Yellow Hat and Curious George Couple Costume

Our Man in the Yellow hat and Curious George couple costume was fun to make and pretty easy, too. And it sure had heads turning all night long!

Making the Curious George Costume

The Curious George outfit was created with a brown dress, brown nylons, and nude pumps. Brown would also work – but I went with items I already owned. The only additional item needed was a tail and ear combo pack. I purchased those for less than $10 from a generic Halloween Store!

The Man in the Yellow Hat costume could be easily made with a yellow shirt, yellow pants, and a yellow hat- but we opted for purchasing the costume online out of laziness. :) The hat was floppy, so we reinforced the bottom with styrofoam that we colored yellow.

The Curious George couple costume is a really sweet option for couples looking to dress up together. However, if you’re planning to do a solo costume, you can easily dress up as the Man in the Yellow hat and bring along a Curious George doll or a brown monkey doll.
