You gotta love the outfits they have to wear to work at Hot Dog on a Stick. These homemade costumes took inspiration from the fast food chain and their uniforms. I purchased a t-shirt and cut the bottom off. I then purchased yellow, blue and red fabric. I cut the fabric into strips and sewed them together to create the skirt.
The hat came together from a plastic top hat from a New Year’s party. I used the front of a ball cap and then embellished it with more blue yellow and red fabric. I bought tall zipper boots from a thrift store and used spray paint to make one look like mustard and the other look like ketchup. The corn dog was made using brown felt and some lighter colored acrylic paint and a dowel rod for the stick.
