I work at Kmart,(lame I know) but sell these giant Snickers bars, and a coworker and I were talking about them. When she also mentioned she wasn’t sure what to be for Halloween that had me thinking about costume ideas. Then it hit me! If you were to make a little town or In Paul Bunyans case, a little forest and attach it to your feet you will actually look like a giant! Now many people dress as Paul Bunyan but none ever actually looks giant… But I changed that.
I made a forest on pieces of cardboard, painted it and put on trees, little animals, and even made a river with a bridge and glued it all on. Then used Velcro on the bottom of my shoe and on the cardboard to make it stick to my feet. I also used pipe cleaners to twist over my shoe so the forest would stay on. Then wore green jeans, my brothers red flannel shirt, and a beanie. I bought the tattoo mustache and made a beard out of eyeliner. It was a hit! Everyone loved it and came over talking about the costume and asked how I came up with it. I won all around best costume at school! Although it was difficult to walk in, but manageable!
I had a lot of fun making it, and was very pleased with the reaction I got from everyone!
