Cool DIY Crayola Crayon Costumes for Quintuplets!

Here are our homemade crayon costumes. I made the costumes for myself (mother), my husband, my mom and our 16-month old quintuplets, yes 5!

As we all know, Halloween costumes are expensive especially if we are looking to buy for 5 babies. I researched and googled whats the best costume for family that is homemade. I was never creative nor made Halloween costumes in the past, but I guess if you have the imagination and determination to do something, you can make it.

This will be the first trick or treat for them. I decided to make crayon costumes for myself, my husband and my mom the same costume. I made all of our costumes by myself for 4 nights.

Making the Crayon Costumes

I measured each one of us, cut the felt, glued it, waited to dry up and cleaned the dried glue. Then, I cut out the black felt, cut out the word Crayola 8 times, oh and all of the things I did are times 8 (that’s the hardest).

I thought buying 5 costumes for the babies plus three adults are too much and its not as fun as having a homemade and spending less than $5 each/costume!

So, felt in different colors, black felt, glue gun, glue sticks and some imagination and boom! We got our homemade crayon costumes this year!
