Our dog’s registered name is Hurricane Sandy, so we really wanted a weather-related costume. Hurricanes and tornadoes are a little overdone for costumes, so I thought of the phrase “its raining cats and dogs” and the costume came to life! we got a little rain coat, some red rubber rain boots, got an umbrella top with a chain attatched to hook on to use as a leash. got some ribbon, and made cats and dogs rain over the umbrella!
We have gotten some great feedback about the costume so far.
