We had been planning the costume for months, but waited until the very last minute to throw it together. So the day of the party we finally went shopping. It took lots of sifting through nightgowns, dresses, wigs, shoes, etc to find exactly what we wanted- but we couldn’t have been happier with the way they turned out.
We went to a fund raiser at a bar in Boston for the Halloween party. Everywhere we went we held hands and when people would talk to us, we would say “come play with us danny.” Some people even turned and walked away saying that we were too freaky to look at.
The reason it was so successful is because we didn’t have to do a lot of work to make it scary, and realistic. And we didn’t have to show a bunch of skin to get attention!!
