I just bought a body suit from Walmart and then I sewed a strapless bra into the suit. I cut the straps off the body suit also. I originally thought this was going to be pretty simple to create by just hot gluing the poison ivy leaves that I bought from AC Moore onto the body suit. Little did I know that it was going to not stretch very well and leaves were coming off when I tried putting it on.
I ended up having to wear the suit and glue the leaves on so it would stretch with my body when I took it off and on. Try doing that by yourself! I bought green tights and green fish net gloves and put on fake eyelashes and did my eyes all up in green eye shadow!
It ended up turning out great and everyone loved my costume! I got a lot of “OMG you made that!” comments!
