I love the Simpson’s.
When Marge posed for Playboy a few years ago, I was thrilled because, going as Marge had a new spin and seemed perfect for the occasion. The costume itself was fairly easy to construct. I tried to use things I had on hand around the house. Marge’s hair was fashioned from packing material, batting and cotton balls spray painted blue. I purchased white doll hair from the craft store and sprayed that blue as well (the carpet must match the drapes).
Also, I did purchase a white leotard and fishnets that I dyed yellow. A white Velcro rap around towel from my linen closet that I dyed green became the dress and I borrowed a pair of red shoes from my Mrs. Santa costume. A length of Christmas garland for my necklace and I was good to go.
The reaction from everyone was happy and positive and we all had fun with it.
