This year I was blessed with my very first grandchild. On July 4th, 2012 Cayden was born at 8lbs 0oz and 21 inches! He has changed my life forever and I would do anything for him. I have always really been into sewing so when I found out my daughter was pregnant my creative mind starting going into overdrive. I have made him several outfits, his bassinet, blankets, burp clothes, a boppy, and several other items.
When it came time to decide what he was going to be for Halloween my daughter decided she really wanted him to be a monster since she calls him her little monster all the time. After searching online for a picture of a monster she liked she came across the monster Scully from Monsters Inc. and decided that is the monster she wanted me to create for him. I made this costume by just looking at a picture and using a standard pattern for a sleeper for a baby. I decided to make my own touches and change some of the colors so his was not exactly like the Monsters Inc. monster. Cayden is my world and I truly think that he is the cutest little monster ever!
