This glowing daft punk couple costume with Tron EL wire suit was hand sewed to clothing with fishing line. The jacket is leather. I even outlined my Nike shoes with the El wire. The helmet was made from clay and then mold was made. Then pour with smooth cast plastic. Total of around 100ft of EL wire was used. A total of 16 AA battery with 2 inverters power the El wire.
This was the best costume I have ever made. I got so much attention and won many local costume contest this year.
