It started with “Book”. I found a hard plastic book labeled “Treasure Island” that opened up so you could store stuff inside. I molded “Books” design with air dry clay, spray painted it brown, used a needle to make holes in the clay to put hemp string through to give it that “dead skin sewn together” look.
I created the snake, circular piece around the eye and the curled snakes and painted them silver, then painted the “eye” with acrylic paint. I took green velvet and used my sewing machine to make a dress, and purple velvet sewn in the middle. I took a gold ribbon to tie it together, used gold fabric paint for all the designs. I colored my hair with infrared by manic panic and used a lot of makeup on my face. Thankfully my eyebrows are naturally light so they were not too hard to cover!
