My 3 boys started sports this last year and our schedules gut even crazier then they were. At the end of each season, they would get a participation trophy and my husband and I would argue that we the parents should get one too. The boys wanted to be trophies for Halloween and make a movie every year with their Halloween costumes. We decided to name it “The War over Participation Trophies.
The actual costumes were easy to make with old uniforms and cleats amd a whole lot of gold spray paint. The gold paint worked well and was easy to wash off with soap and water… but it did make a mess of the car. The kids decided what they wanted the bottom of the trophy to say and those were made from milk crates wrapped in black garbage bags with a gold painted cardboard plate.
