I put together this Voodoo doll costume a few years back for a Halloween party and got so many positive reactions. Lots of people wanted to take pictures.
The costume was actually super simple to make but not going to lie the one downside it that it was pretty difficult to use the restroom.
I used long burlap strips and hot glued them to an old pair of leggings and tank top to make an overhauls type suit. The heart was Styrofoam that I cut and painted and the pins were painted Styrofoam balls on wooden skewers. I hot glued the patches of old fabric on, used that cheap Halloween coloured hair spray and voila!
The entire costume only costed about $20.00 to make.
